🎥Lights! Camera! Action! What is more fun, educational, and physical than joining Junior Snappers Fun Filmmaking for Kids annual filmmaking camp from script to screen?

This hands-on camp teaches your child how to ideate, create their story, and fundamental filmmaking techniques, incorporating both theory and practice. They will learn to use their imagination to develop plots, directing, camera techniques, acting, teamwork, resolving conflicts, and time management to finish a short film!

This camp is best suited for children aged 8 – 12 years old.

Note

This camp is run by a professional filmmaker. It is an intimate private class with an average of 6 students. A minimum of 4 students is required to run the camp. The final short film will be posted on our YouTube channel approximately 4 to 6 weeks and students will receive a certificate. A signed registration form with full payment is required upon enrolment. Enrolment will be closed a week before class commences or when the class is full. A full refund will be returned immediately if there are insufficient numbers to run the particular camp or alternate camp offered. Additional and private camp can be requested. About The Creative

Junior Snappers Club is founded by Kirsty Yeo in 2012 to share her passion for filmmaking with kids. The club aims to encourage children to actively engage with film at all levels, offering a safe environment for children to explore their imaginations, talents, and social skills.

Kirsty Yeo has a long history in film productions including producing commercials, corporate videos, TV, documentary, and music video. She is experienced in working with award-winning Directors and cinematographers worldwide. She has produced four award-winning television commercials during her career. She is experienced in working with award-winning Directors and cinematographers worldwide. She has produced four award-winning television commercials during her career. The projects she has worked on in recent years include A taste of Hong Kong (Discovery TLC Chanel), Memory Games (Netflix), BJ: The Life and Times of Bosco and Jojo which has been selected for screening in four festivals in 2022 and Dragon Woman (feature doco).
